Mr. Siddique is an IAS officer of Tamil Nadu Cadre belonging to the batch of 1995 He has served in various capacities in the Government of Tamil Nadu and Government of India. He is currently working as Managing Director, Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) since June 2022.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras.

With a service record of over 23 years, Mr. Siddique has gained expertise in public finance, policy-making, infrastructure, and public administration. In the Government of Tamil Nadu, he served as Sub-Collector, Sivakasi, Virudhunagar district from 1997-1998 and subsequently joined the Finance department as the Under Secretary to Government in 1998 and worked as Deputy Secretary in Finance Department from 1999 to 2002, acting as the Budget Officer of the State Government. He served as District Collector of Dharmapuri District between 2002 and 2004 and in Sivaganga District from 2006 to 2007. He held the post of Director of Museums for two years from 2004 and 2006 and that of Commissioner of Archives and Historical Research for three years between 2014 and 2017. He held the post of Principal Secretary (Expenditure), Finance Department from 2017 to 2019, Commissioner of Commercial Taxes, from 2019 to 2021, and Commissioner of Revenue Administration from December 2021 before taking the current role of Managing Director of CMRL in June 2022.

In the Government of India, Mr. Siddique worked as Director in the Department of Expenditure for a year in 2008-2009 and worked in two key ministries of Home and Finance for five years between 2009 and 2014.

Mr. Siddique is a lover of badminton sport. He has officiated as Senior Team Manager for the Indian Badminton team to the All England Championship and Swiss Open in 2015 and has been in the Governing Council for the Premier Badminton League in 2016.

Shri T Archunan belongs to the 1989 batch of the Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE). He is a Structural Engineer, (M.E) from the Indian Institute of Science (1988-1990) and a Civil Engineering, (B.E)(Hons) from Thiagarajar college of engineering, Madurai (1984-1988).

Before joining CMRL as Director (Projects), he had worked with Indian Railways for about 20 years, 5 years on deputation in CMRL, and 5 years as Director (Projects) in Kochi Metro Rail Limited. He has wide experience in Railway track maintenance, Railway track laying works, Earth works, Construction of bridges, Broad gauge conversion works, Track renewals, Removal of speed restrictions, and Passenger amenity works.

Shri Archunan, is the Director (Projects) and Member of the Board of CMRL since June 2021 and is in charge of all Civil works related to Chennai Metro Phase I Extension (9 Km) and Phase II (119 Km) with a total of 3 corridors involving 128 nos. of stations. Phase II has 42 km underground and 77 km of elevated stations. The project is being taken up at a time which is one of the largest projects in India. He is one of the Board of Directors of Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation Limited & Patna Metro Rail Corporation Limited.

Shri S. Krishnamoorthy belongs to 1989 batch of Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS). He has a service record of 34 years in various capacities in Southern Railway and Central Railway.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Technology in Chemical Engineering (1982-86) from A.C. College of Technology, Chennai and M.B.A (1986-88) from College of Engineering, Guindy, Chennai.

Before joining as Director Finance in Chennai Metro Rail Limited, he had worked as Principal Financial Advisor of Southern Railway. He has wide experience in Finance & Accounts, Project Management, Contract Management, Revenue Generation and Business Development.

He had also worked in CMRL on deputation as Chief General Manager and Chief Vigilance Officer during the period 2008-13 and implemented the Phase-1 of Chennai Metro Rail Project.

Shri. Manoj Goyal belongs to 1990 batch of Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE). He is an Electrical Engineering Graduate from Dayalbagh Educational Institution (Deemed University), Agra. Further, he obtained his MBA degree (Part Time) from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, University of Mumbai and M. Phil from Dr D Y Patil University, Navi Mumbai.

Before joining CMRL as Director (Systems & Operations), he worked with Indian Railways for about 33 years. While serving Indian Railways in various capacities, he has worked as Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Bhavnagar, Gujarat, for two years, as Chief General Manager (Systems) for five years in Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project and in Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation for upgradation of EMU Maintenance Facilities in Mumbai suburban area. His last assignment was as Chief Administrative Officer/Dahod Loco Factory Project at Mumbai, Western Railway. He has wide experience in Railway Rolling Stock, Traction System and E&M System.
