Chennai Metro Introduces India’s First Anti-Drag Safety Feature | Enhanced Passenger Safety by CMRL

Chennai Metro Rail Limited has flagged off the first Phase-1 metro train equipped with the Anti-Drag Safety Feature, a first-of-its-kind safety enhancement in an Indian Metro system. The system detects trapped garments or objects in train doors, automatically applies brakes, and reopens the doors to ensure safer and more secure journeys for passengers.
